Staff, family and friends took part in the 10K Run & Walk at the Karura Forest in Nairobi last month. It was a phenomenal success raising funds to help Tushinde to provide family support to children in vulnerable situations. Everyone had great fun and they raised a good amount of money too. We were honoured to have the event graced by madam Ann Wangombe, the Permanent Secretary of the State Department of Gender and Affirmative Action. Her presence inspired us all and highlighted the importance of collective action in driving change.
The day which began with cloudy skies and ended in sunshine, was filled with energy, camaraderie, and the spirt of making a difference. Thank you to all who participated, donated, and supported — your efforts are transforming lives. Let's keep the momentum going!
