Fidel Omondi: Upcoming Doctor from Mathare

Fidel, 21, grew up in the heart of Mathare, where daily survival often overshadows dreams. Raised by a single mother struggling with health issues, Fidel faced overwhelming odds, but he never let go of his goal — to succeed in school and become a doctor.

Through grit, borrowed books, and quiet determination, Fidel scored an impressive A- in his 2023 Form Four exams. Now, his sights are set on studying medicine, so he can one day return to serve his community with compassion and care.
